H armony. A beautiful noun, one which could never be used to describe the state of the world. It was chaos after all - hunger for power and wealth leading the minds of men and beast alike. Their actions were foolish: actions of children, who had forgot how to play nicely. Strong yet spiteful, these varying groups - mythical races - hurled the land into a single chaotic battle. Willing to sacrifice everything to accomplish their goals - to be victorious over the others - they went to great measures... It was a stampede after all. A grand race for territory, resources and money. Armies rose and fell - unbelievable in size - and yet despite all this, their common goal remained the same for decades to come, as none could ever stand above the other. However though understanding came with these passing years, each and all found this lust impossible to stop. Driven to the depths of insanity. Driven to desperate means that could only mean the end for all.
A day would bring death to thousands. A week would bring pain to millions. A year would bring devastation to the world.

Y et times were changing. Slowly but surely, the change was occurring.
The immortals found themselves tired of constant struggles, peace being their single dream.
The vampires found themselves despising blood - it's taste still dry in their mouths.
The werewolves found themselves wishing for the moon to vanish: to deprive them of their rage.
The demons found themselves locked in never-ending combat. It was never what they wished for...

A nd humans? Ah, but they loved warfare! If anything, it were the humans who asked for more - who never faltered or lingered. Their strikes came swiftly, any counter attack met with fierce resistance. When killed, new would be born to take their place. Revenge set in their eyes, they would hunt for the 'abominations' that killed their family... And thus, this chain of wars could not be simply shattered.

Y et times were indeed changing. A crucial battle was all that it would take, and the deadline for such battle was coming closer and closer. And of course, finally, when in a desperate attempt to end the long years of war, had the 'abominations' united for a seconds' moment to crush the pest, that were humans. Under a single banner. Under a single leader. Under a single man... A human - a traitor of his own kind. He was the one who dealt the final blow; the first to enter and the last to leave.

T hough the price for this victory was great. For the man carried a single wish, one which would bring nations to their knees. After the battle - the stench of flesh still strong in the air - the young man stood still as history was made. He was to become... United as an ultimate being... a God. His flesh became that of the werewolves and demons; wings growing out of his back; horns shooting out from his head. His eyes turned to a scarlet colour, and his teeth grew sharp and lethal... His speed was untraceable, and his strength was unchallengeable. Named "Kami", the being once known as a human, was crowned king of all.

H is first demand was peace, temporarily at least. He demanded a treaty to be signed and though humans became a minority after the massacre, almost wiped out as they were, they too were included in this document. The concept was of course thoughtful and most likely successful... However even God made mistakes. His one, was favouritism, which would soon bring chaos once more. Perhaps it was foolish of him or perhaps it was all part of a greater plan, that the Kami's favour fell upon a single race. This race was to become the ruling class - the kings of earth. Whilst God would rule these kings, the kings would rule the people, and as so, hierarchy as well as peace would be acquired...

W ishful thinking. Untouched by protest, even Kami himself could not foresee the consequence of his actions. Though just what would be the result, no one knows... Years have passed, though the tides have yet to turn. Neither of the races has made a move... so then, just who will have the courage to bring chaos back... Just who?
