| ~History~
The Clan was created relatively soon by a samurai called Shishimaru. He lived in a world of ninjas, a world where samurai were becoming extinct, no one cared about the way of the sword anymore, ninjas had it all, Ninjutsus, Taijutsus, Genjutsus and even their own styles of Kenjutsus, the ninjas had something that the samurai never could obtain, chakra attained by combining Spiritual Energy with Body Energy. Without chakra the Samurai couldn't use jutsus and those were forced to remain with their ways of the sword, although better than any ninja at sword fighting they could see that it wasn't enough their jobs started becoming scarce until few remained, but Shishimaru was different he didn't plan on losing to the ninjas he grew to hate, he trained his body to the point of breakdown for many years but that wasn't enough until one day a small demon appeared in a dream, the demon spoke of power that no ninja could achieve, it spoke of a power that would balance the world of ninjas and samurai, a power that he was only giving away to the Onigami clan. Shishimaru marveled by the demon agreed to give what the demon wanted and in return, when he woke up he found 3 things at the bottom of his bed, a Scroll, a Pendant and finally a Mask, a white mask with strange markings in it. Shishimaru followed the demons instructions and showed his family the 3 items, and their powers, also there was a change in Shishimaru's body that was easy to be noticed, he was stronger, faster and more agile, it seemed that his body started creating Spirit Chakra, a special kind of chakra that only they had, it powered up their body's and gave them some new abilities. But Shishimaru's joy and new powers didn't last long for a year later the demon came back to reclaim what he wanted in the trade with the powers, he came back to take Shishimaru's soul, but before he took his soul he said "Don't worry, your clan will live on, with the Onimane curse." Many years have passed and the Onigami clan flourished becoming bigger and more influential, taking on jobs such as gaurding and assassinations.
~Kekkei Genkai//Bloodline of the Clan~
The Onigami Clan can be called a non-ninja clan because unlike the ninjas they don't have normal chakra that can be used for Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, instead they have a special type of chakra they came to call Spirit Chakra that has different characteristics then the normal chakra ninjas use, they also generate high amounts of this special chakra so they have high stamina and large chakra pools.
~Chakra Spirit~
This chakra has many abilities yet it cannot be use to create fire or lighting or any other element, or even manipulate them, like normal chakra. Spirit Chakra can be called an element in a way. This chakra normally has a white color but this can change depending on the user, an evil person can have darker chakra, it also changes depending on the usage. Spirit Chakra can be molded into anything the user wishes, the user can harden it or make it softer, they can make it into a ball or thin wire, and this of course depends on the user's skills. Another property of this chakra is its ability to heat up, by making the molecules that make this chakra vibrate more and more the user can make it hotter but for this they require incantations, it can also cool down. Since they can't be ninjas the clan is mostly made of samurai and other types of warriors. These warriors have however two items that give them the power to stand against ninjas.
~Konbuki~
When the Onigami Clan members reach a certain age their body becomes unable to hold the big amounts of Spirit chakra and so at the beginning many died because of it, but then the original Konbuki was copied and began the "mass production". At first it is a simple pendent but when it is given to a Onigami member it will react and transform into the weapon that better suits that member, afterwards the weapon will create a unbreakable link with the Onigami member because this weapon stores the excess chakra that the bodies can't take and releases it into the user's body as his Spirit Chakra is used up. There are some Konbuki which hold special abilities only usable by their owners, like for example the ability to turn the blade into ash and control it or the ability to extend the blade.
~Saigo~
Saigo is the final stage of a Konbuki's power. In this form the user's Konbuki transforms in what can be considered the ultimate weapon for its wielder becoming stronger and releasing the stored chakra. Few Onigami have ever been able to achieve. While active it drains the same amount of life force than Mattaki, which means that users that don't have a mask and aren't used to the life force drain will get tired much quicker than a Mattaki user. This is a Jounin+ ability and requires training.
~Onimane~
The Clan secret creation, only 10 out of 100 are capable of using it and only 4 out of those 10 can use it and be able to control the power before it ends in their death. This mask is dangerous as it is powerful. When the user puts it on their eyeballs turn black and their pupils turn red. When the user actually forms the mask or it begins to form on its own the contract with the demon that the founder made will activate at full power, the demon will transfer his powers through the mask, in exchange for the user's life force. The mask boosts up speed, strength, agility, Spirit chakra manipulation and extremely fast Spirit Chakra production. This mask cannot be in use for extended periods of time although higher ranked users can hold out for hours with the cost of their lives. It has 3 stages:
~Han~
This stage is for beginners, it is still only half the original mask which is what they can only control at first. When Han is formed the user will lose all rational thinking and give in to bloodlust becoming a killing machine. But remaining in a state such as this for too long will eventually leave the user in a empty shell for ever that is why most die or lose themselves during the Han stage, it is also hard to break the mask. No genin is capable of staying in control while Han is active, this mask will only form when the user is in a life or death situation and/or shows that they have weak minds allowing the demon to take over. The only ways to revert to normal are by removing the mask, breaking or knocking out the user. If the user is strong enough he can be able to take over.
~Mattaki~
Only for those who do not die in the process of using Han and don't lose themselves to the bloodlust, this time the mask is fully covers the face, Mattaki is the strongest from. Once the mask is broken or removed the user will have an extremely tired body because their life force is sucked, this of course depending on the time he used it. If the mask is broken and the user only had it from a small amount of time he can still form it again but activating it twice will drain twice the life force. The effects of the Onimane are only terminated if the mask is completely broken and off the user's face, if a small part such as around one eye is still on the user's face then the mask is still active. Jounin+ members are capable of reforming broken pieces of the mask but those reformed pieces are weaker and easier to break.
~Onimane Matteki~
Only for those who do not die in the process of using Matteki and don't lose themselves to the bloodlust, this time the mask is fully covers the whole body and changes the appearance of the user to devil looking being, white white skin and red lines the user becomes fully controlled by the demon, Ultra Mattaki is a form with harsh training methods. Once the mask is broken or removed the user will have an extremely tired body because their life force is sucked, this of course depending on the time he used it.

When one enters this style they imagine a dome around them, that is called the Zero Point, if a opposing attack reaches that point it is the meant to defend, the dome is as big as the range of the weapon. After a successful block, deflection or evasion the user will unleash and fast and careful counterattack.

Description: When Ichigo was a child he learned, like most of the Onigami children, the Four Onigami Kenjutsu Styles, but Ichigo was different from the other children as his Konbuki constituted of not one but two swords and most of the techniques required only one sword and some even found a second weapon to be a hindrance. When Ichigo left the Onigami he developed his own style that used two swords although he still uses one sword sometimes. This style has two stances but both mostly base themselves on speed and counter-strikes, Ichigo actually uses the opponent’s eye movements, body movements, muscle movements, head movements, arms and legs movements and other factors to gain a certain prediction of the target’s moves, although no where near the sharingan’s prediction ability one can know where an attack is going to be made, what level of power it will have and more, there is also a high probability that the predictions are wrong.
The Hungry Wolf Mantis style came has two stances that Ichigo calls Wolf and Mantis. The first, Wolf, is a lower position based on speed and agility, the user usually remains in an arched and crouching position, one leg is usually in front while the other’s knee is almost touching the ground making Ichigo look like a predator ready to pounce, this stance also uses the inverted sword grip on most attacks. The Wolf Stance consists of quick attacks and some even involve the user jumping over and under the target, but what this stance lacks in defense it gains in speed and power on the attack. The Mantis stance is higher per say, the user only bends his legs enough for good short range mobility, the front leg is always turned to the opponent while the back leg is always turned to the side to allow the user quick sidesteps. This stance allows the user to change from full offensive to defensive and counter-attacking, the user will predict or react to the opponent’s attacks and dodge to the side, crouching down or jumping up, whatever is the best thing to do in that situation and quickly execute quick strikes with low power but precision and speed that could be lethal. Some have said to see a kind of imaginary dome around Ichigo signifying his area where he can dodge, block and counter attack the attacks that enter that area.

The user first runs up to the opponent, then when close enough they jump to the ground and begin the slide towards the target, when in range they will deliver a bone crunching kick to their chest or stomach, then the user will spin on the ground and deliver a kick to the side of the head with a downward movement sending the opponent's face towards the ground and finally the user will jump on top of the opponent and stab them where they please.

The user starts off with a crushing horizontal slash then taking advantage of the momentum created by the movement he will spin around and deliver a upwards vertical slash once he does a 360º turn, again using the momentum the user will jump up and then come crashing down with a powerful slash downwards.

This technique is rarely seen in use as most user of this style prefer powerful swings to grappling attacks.

This is not as much a technique but more like a Style within a Style which is used in as a last resort if the user’s arms are unable to carry a blade. The user will actually hold the blade with his mouth, biting the hilt as hard as he can, fortunately the Onigami are like dogs and have strong jaws capable to even blocking incoming attacks with the sword and not loose the “grip” on the sword. This is also used when the user needs a free hand for another attack.

Description: One of the 7 Mansions of the Vermilion Bird. Using speed rather then power this technique is very good for incapacitating a target. The user first dashes towards the target at full speed, as he gets close enough he will jump to the ground with his feet in front and slide under the target’s legs. As the user slides under the target’s legs he will slash at one of the ankles, at both if the user has two weapons, and at least create a wound that will keep the target from using that leg during the battle, usually the Onigami’s strength is enough to slice the foot clean from the target’s leg.

Description: One of the 7 Mansions of the Vermilion Bird. The user most have a great deal of speed and agility to pull this technique off, it is a reckless technique so few us it. The user first jumps in the air towards the target and gets into a almost horizontal position relatively to the ground while in mid air, he will then swing down with his sword but at the same time placing one of his feet on the back of the blade giving it more power and stability when the blade reaches the target. This technique as the downside of leaving the target open for attacks if the attack doesn’t successfully kill or incapacitate the target.

Description: One of the 7 Mansions of the Vermilion Bird. This technique is rarely seen in battle because more Suzakuryu users prefer quick and not complicated attacks to end the battle as fast as possible and this technique can become a bit complicated. The user starts by rushing at the target and jumping in the air, while in mid air the user places his body in a horizontal position to the ground and spins around, he will then quickly place his right leg on the target’s back while the left leg slams against the target’s face making a kind of body scissors and sending the target to the ground, some users grab the arm for an arm lock. While on the ground the target is open for a quick stab to the chest or other part of the body. The user has to be careful not to stab his own leg.

First the user runs towards the opponent at top speed, once he reaches the opponent he will use a good footwork to spin around the opponent ending up back to back to each other, then the user quickly stabs towards himself but the blade passes by his side and stabs the target's back, he will then spin around in place taking the blade from the opponent's body and ending up with a quick slash at any part of the body.

Description: One of the 7 Mansions of the Vermilion Bird. One of the deadliest and fastest attacks out of all the Onigami Kenjutsu Styles. The user start’s by charging towards the target at high speed, some even use Shunpo or Onipo to make the attack faster, there is a flash and the user stops behind the target, who is left behind with a cross shape wound with another vertical wound over the cross. What actually happens is that the user performs three slashes at high speeds on the target’s chest. These slashes are so fast that few genin are capable of reacting to them and some to even see them.

The user quickly places their weapon behind him with the tip on the ground, then when the opponent is close enough, he will slash upwards not aiming at the opponent but making the blade pass trough the ground and making dust rise between them and the opponent and finally counterattack with a strong and precise stab trough the dust and using the first slash's momentum.

The user quickly places their weapon behind him with the tip on the ground, then when the opponent is close enough he will slash trough the ground in a circle around him lifting up dust around him hiding himself, as soon as the dust cloud it up the user jumps up trying not to be noticed and then dashes towards the opponent or comes down on the opponent without him knowing and delivering a counterattack.

Description: One of the 7 Mansions of the Black Snake-Tortoise. This is a defense against attacks coming towards the opponent user from the ground level. The user will first block the attacker anyway he can, probably using his weapon, and will give a strong push back, this is easier for the Onigami since they have enhanced strength. As the target’s guard is broken the user will place his blade in front of himself with the edge turned to the target, place his other hand on the back of the blade near the end of the blade and charge at the target sinking the blade into his chest, the user then pulls down or up with the hand that is grabbing the hilt finishing off the opponent.

Description: One of the 7 Mansions of the Black Snake-Tortoise. Urukiboshi uses more Taijutsu then actually Kenjutsu if the user has only one weapon. This is a defense against attacks coming towards the opponent user from the ground level. The user will first block the attacker anyway he can, probably using his weapon, and will give a strong push back, this is easier for the Onigami since they have enhanced strength. When the user breaks the target’s guard he will immediately stab his sword on the target’s foot nailing it to the ground and stopping the opponent from moving. Almost immediately the user will get into position and deliver a crushing blow using the Onigami’s strength against the target. If the user has another weapon a killing blow is usually used.

Description: One of the 7 Mansions of the Black Snake-Tortoise. This is a defense against attacks coming towards the opponent user from the ground level. The user will first block the attacker anyway he can, probably using his weapon, and will give a strong push back, this is easier for the Onigami since they have enhanced strength. As the target’s guard is broken the user will grab wrist of the hand that is holding his weapon with the oposite hand, right hand grabs the left hand, pull it up while keeping a tight grip to make it harder for the target to use his weapon. The user then has two options he can either stab his weapon on the target’s arm making him drop his weapon or at least making sure he can’t use that arm or he can twist the arm and break his arm by hitting his elbow. This technique is meant for disarming the target rather then killing him.

The user then spins in place placing his back in front of the target’s chest, meanwhile he changes the grip of his blade into an inverted grip, aims the tip of the blade to the target’s side and with a deadly and precise attack will stab his blade trough the target’s side and if done correctly all the way to the opposite side’s collarbone, killing the target.

This line of chakra acts like a wire but the dangerous part of this technique is that only the ends of the “wire” are being pulled so the wire will cut trough any thin surface like a neck for example or wrap around a sturdier one. If the user has two weapons this technique is called Amiboshibai or Double Neck.

If the user is under the influence of the Onimane they will release more chakra making the Technique B-Rank and a bigger crescent blade called Dainakagoboshi or Big Heart.

Once the circle is complete the user will make a vertical slash downwards hitting the circle. The Spirit Chakra will heat up to around 1200ºC and will close around the target’s midsection trapping him. When it closes around the target the Spirit Chakra hardens and become as tough and hard as iron chains.

Description: One of the techniques of the Art of Blocking of the Onigami's Ouryuken called the best defense in the martial art world. Everyone has heard about the famous Wax on, Wax off well that is not just some old movie mumbo-jumbo it is actually an actual and surprisingly effective way to block incoming attacks. The user's stance is usually just a normal standing position with slightly bent knees, they turn their palms towards the incoming attack and make two circular movements with his hands, both counter clockwise. This looks very simple but it's capable of blocking almost any taijutsu attack, the movement allows for the user to hit the incoming attack and somewhat brush it aside, of course the Onigami's herculean strength helps here but it also works for weak people.

This technique is often forgotten and called the most useless of the Art of Blocking techniques since ignorant brutes of the clan often think that strength is more important so instead of nullifying an attack this way is less effective then dodging and aiming for the target's body, but they fail to see the potential of this technique.

Rather simple, the user simply places his hands in a praying like position with his palms together and in front of his neck area, from this position the user can block or redirect most attacks heading towards him with a simple movement of one of his hands while the other attacks the target directly. This is simple to execute yet effective, with the hands in that position it is easier and faster to block attacks from the waist up.

The user will only use the risen leg to block incoming attacks, as the user is attacked he will slightly bend his root leg and with the other block the attack, but before the blocking is successful the user extends the root leg adding more power to the block and often enough ending in shooting the target back with a broken leg.

Description: Not really blocking but as a defensive technique it was placed in the Art of Blocking. Like the name implies this technique is based on leaning back quickly, it is rather simple like most of the Art of Blocking techniques, the user simply leans his body back or to the side in a way where his body's position must be parallel to the attacker's body. This technique was actually used by champion boxer Muhammad Ali who never put his guard up in his career. Again this technique doesn't have any blocking in it, on the contrary, it uses Kuutai to dodge the target's attack rather then blocking it but it's one of the best defensive techniques in the Ouryuken.

Description: Not the most effective of the blocking techniques since it doesn't actually block the opponent's attack but rather takes the impact, but a master at this technique can render most Taijutsu useless. Shaolin Monks are known for certain breathing techniques and other techniques they use to be able to take in several impacts or even prevent a bladed weapon to penetrate their skin, even while they put all their weight into the blade. The Onigami use the same breathing techniques and concentration to be able to withstand such attacks, this of course requires a calm mind to work. After the user takes in the attack they usually counter-attack as quickly as they can, taking advantage of a surprised opponent.

Name: Ouryuken: Akitsume (Yellow Dragon Style: Empty Claw)

Description: Ichigo's favorite Taijutsu Technique and it's one of the strongest attacks of the The Art of Striking. The user first needs to get close to the target, he must stop with the opposite side of the attack facing the target, like for example with his shoulder and right side of the waist turned to the target. The user will then pull back the arm chosen to attack and bend it, the palm will be open with the fingers bent down and the hand in a 90º angle upward with the forearm. When ready the user will rotate his body and thrust the palm forward, at the same time the user will twist his arm to add further power to the attack. Receiving a strike from this attack can be deadly or at least will end the match most of the time because of the combination of power. The Onigami already possess Herculean strength much like Tsunade but the combination of that strength, the rotation of the body and the rotation of the palm strike will cause massive internal damage affecting not only the bones but also the internal organs in the area of the strike.

This technique consists of simply attacking with both hands at the same time, nothing more, indeed it sounds easy but it certainly isn't, it requires allot of training to be able to do two different things with both hands and I mean allot. Using this technique the user can do a number of things like for example blocking while countering, I'm not talking about blocking an attack then launching a counter attack, I'm talking about blocking and attacking the target at the exact same time. The user can also attack two places at the same time making it exceptionally hard for Taijutsu user's to block both attacks. A draw back to this techniques is that the user cannot use his whole body, he cannot rotate his hip when punching and so one but this is compensated by the Onigami's strength.

After the target is down the user can do a number of holds, one that is used more often then the rest is a leg lock where the user sits down in a perpendicular position to the target grabbing the leg closest to him with both hands while locking the other leg by putting the right foot over the knee while the other leg goes under the target's leg, when everything is locked the user will fall back keeping a hold of the leg in his hands and pulling down with the foot over the knee while the other leg pulls up, because of the Onigami's herculean strength they can easily break the target's legs.

Description: Not the most complicated and flashy technique of the Art of Grappling and Throwing but it stands out for being the base of many others, because of its simplicity and if executed correctly the user will have plenty of time to draw a weapon and easily eliminate the target. The user first uses Ouryuken: Kuutai to somewhat predict the trajectory of a punch or palm strike, he will then grab the wrist of the punch with the opposite side hand and the actual fist or open hand with the other hand, the user then quickly pulls the arm down while stepping forward and then pulls the arm up behind the target making a arm lock, at the same time the user's leg moves in to trip the target while the user pushes the target forward and also using the target's motion against them, throwing him face first into the ground while still holding the arm with atleast one hand. Once the target is down the user can sit or kneel on him while still locking the arm, with his free hand he can do a number of things but this technique was created to allow the user to pin the target and have time to draw their swords or tantos and execute the target without much effort.

The user will focus on his surroundings and actually feel the energy around him emanating from the living beings, becoming able to know which direction and approximately how close they are. More skilled users, A-Ranked Samurai, are not only capable of feeling the target's location but also their movements if they are close enough. This becomes incredibly useful if the user is blinded by an opponent or is the target of a surprise attack. While more skilled users are capable of sensing the direction from which the attacks are coming and more or less how fast it is coming they are not capable of sensing finer details like the power, the weapon used and so on. The further the target is the harder it becomes to "feel" them thus harder to pinpoint their location.

Description: Due to the Onigami's inability to perform simple ninja techniques just as water/wall walking, they have developed a technique that allows them to bypass such obstacles. This technique is a simply kick performed by the user in mid air, however the kick is not aimed at a target but in the opposite direction that the user wants to move to. In other words by kicking the air the user is capable of changing directions in mid air and at higher levels stay in the air for short periods of time. The user simply kicks the air in the opposite direction to where they want to go, this kick cannot be so weak, flaky kick but a strong and fast one. As they kick, they also release a burst of energy from their leg helping in propelling the user. By kicking with both legs at the same time the user can shoot in one direction much faster than normal and keep a steady balance but using only one leg is also possible. There are variations of this technique as each Onigami member has their own way of using it but this is the basics of this technique.

When an opponent attacks the user with simply Taijutsu attack such as a kick or punch the user first places the back of his hand in the direction of the attack and recites the name of the spell, a ball of Spirit Chakra will form in front of the back of the hand and when it it will go flat stopping the attack and then it will repel the attacking limb with the same force as the attack. This technique can only be used on opponents of the same rank or bellow and cannot block weapons, the user must also be strong enough to block the attack itself.

This smoke will only last for a few seconds after the user removes his hands from the ground. This smoke might seem to be allot of trouble to do when you can simply use a smoke bomb but it's very good when fighting Doujutsu users such as the Hyuuga as they will only see a mass of chakra and nothing inside the smoke.
