Description: by feeding raiton chakra in to a metal object the user is able to create a temporary electromagnetic pull in a weapon or piece of armor causing metal based attacks such as a kunai or sword slash to be attracted to the metal and away from the user (note: K uses his metallic prosthetic hands to “catch” large numbers of metal attacks)

Description: by striking an opponents body with bare hands or a metal conductor the user is able to deliver a powerful electric shock which, while not being particularly damaging (though painful) causes every muscle in the victims body to tense up preventing them from moving and dulls their senses by stunning them, the victim will remain paralyzed for a time after the blow (three posts) and stunned for a time after (an additional post) one of the things that makes this technique popular is that chakra is not expended unless the shock is transferred

Description: An overall simple yet very effective technique, the Cloud-nin creates a sort of electrical current on his hand, this current can then be transferred onto any weapon he happens to be holding at that moment be it a kunai, senbon, shuriken, or even a sword. The next physical attack he performs is charged with this electrical current, if he blocks a weapon attack with his own weapon the current transfers over shocking the attacker. If by chance the user is not carrying a weapon he can transfer this current into his opponent's weapon shocking him, or can even hit him with this current.

Description: From the palm the user unleashes a bolt of lightning about as thick as their forearms which jumps at an alarming speed toward the target delivering a shock, this jutsu is simplistic and not particularly deadly but made almost impossible to doge completely from its speed

Description: The user creates a condensed body of lightning the shape of a kunai in their hands, this can be used as an ordinary kunai but carries a stronger electric property than an electrified kunai would and can be made to explode in to a surge of electricity if desired, despite being ‘solid” the kunai are made of electricity and can pass through metal defenses and bodies of water with out any loss of momentum and tend to electrify any conductors they touch

Description: A simple to use yet complex to apply technique in which the user wells up a large amount of raiton chakra and allows only the smallest amount to escape their bodies creating an electromagnetic pulse of energy which disables any frequencies (such as sound ninjutsu) or electronic equipment (such as communication devices) while making the surrounding area experience a slight pressure and booming nose, used mostly to break concentration and prevent opponents from using higher level jutsu

Description: A very powerful offensive lightning jutsu in which five raiton chakra charged kunai are driven in to the ground in the shape of an equilateral pentagon around the target, small electrical currents run between the concoctor kunai and up out of the ends of their handles to culminate above the targets head inclosing the area in a visible electrical field, if the user tries to break the currents or the electric fields walls they are shocked and forced back in, what makes this technique different than the lightning prison technique is what follows, by discharging an additional bolt of lightning in to one of the conductors the user is able to create a concentrated explosion of electrical energy inside the enclosed space, this focuses inward and can be lethal but is usually used to counter very powerful defensive jutsu or contain very powerful attacks, it is considered only B rank because of the time and precision required to set the technique up making using it in a one on one fight nearly impossible as opponents would catch on very easily if they were watching the user, typically this technique is arranged before hand.

Description: an advanced technique in which the user gathers lightning chakra in to the hands discharging bolts which shape themselves in to hounds who’s ‘tails’ extend back to the users hands allowing the user to control them, the hounds move extremely fast and are “solid” but able to take in and pass through conductors as if they were not solid, these hounds usually gang up on opponents before discharging and bursting in to electrical bolts, limit six usually under four are used

Description: due to the volatile nature of electricity many thought it was impossible to have a lightning prison technique until this technique was discovered, by placing three conductors or lightning clones (conductors such as kunai, senbon or metal rods) in to the ground creating an electric current between them and above them which user calls up in to a dense, visible electric field that traps an opponent, anything trying to get in or out of the currents boundaries or fields walls experiences a powerfully shock and is pushed inside, this technique can be performed with only two conductors if the user or a clone stands in for a third.

Description: gathering up chakra in to their hand the user makes a solid needle shaped projectile of condensed electrical energy that is thrown at immensely fast speeds, the needle is so fast that it can really only be clearly seen from the side and its “solid” enough to act like a normal needle but is able to pass through solid metal and stabs in to a victim with out breaking the skin, the needle itself shocks that area disabling the limb or part of the body struck for three posts and is exceedingly difficult to doge especially if a second is thrown right after. If the user strikes a chakra point with said needle the chakra flow is also cut off for one post but this is almost impossible for a user whom does not have doujutsu.

Description: gathering a large amount of lightning chakra in the hands the user expels countless lightning senbons in a conic formation over a large area taking an entire post to do so, the wave of senbons is constant and over an increasingly large area making evading all of them almost impossible, the idea is to slow down an opponent with a few needles and catch them in to the entire stream by turning their hand half way though, the needles still paralyze effected parts and generate shocks from the increased number, the needles are still solid acting but able to pass through metal and earth based defenses.

Description: a much more powerful version of the lightning clone, this version is made entirely or raw lighting so its clear who the clone is but these solid clones are easily three times as fast and possess four times the voltage of the ordinal clones, these clones can also perform jutsu, share information and speak able to pass through earth and metal based barriers as if they were not solid, pass through water with out a loss of momentum and draw metal objects in to their person, they do no possess any of the weapons that the user did but can shape weapons out of their lightning and explode in to a truly massive blast of lightning, touching these clones will result in stunning and sear burns and all electrical attacks are amplified. Description: a variation of the lightning wall technique in which the user creates an electric field around them in the shape of a sphere able to shock and burn away attacks and reduce their power, it isn’t able to protect as large an area as the lightning wall but it allows the user to move while protected from multiple sides in order to actually run though a larger offensive jutsu and get closer to opponents to attack them in the middle of performing their technique

Description: with a step or blow to a body of rock or water the user sends a pulse of electricity though the target and across the surface, initially it seems that the aim is to shock the opponent as they are caught by the pulse with a damaging jolt which is possible but in reality it is a technique to get the opponent in the air or on to a high tree where lightening strikes are much more effective

Description: considered one of the weaker cloning techniques these clones do not possess the ordinals intelligence and are incapable of speech or mental interaction apart form direct mental commands from the user, they do not share experiences or vision with the user as the “link” between them is only one way, these clones also show a particularly poor endurance and take even less damage than a typical clone, however what they lack in finesse they make up for in speed being the fastest of the clones and in the fact that they explode in to a shocking bolt of electricity once defeated, also attacks delivered by these clones carry a mild shock of their own

Description: an advanced form of the lightning running skill that uses a catalyst, the user draws raiton chakra to their feet as before but does so when standing on or over a conductor (usually a wire but occasionally bodies of water or mist), the electric current carries the user forward along the conductor at blistering speeds far outpacing even the lightning running technique, though the speed is so great that it appears that the user travels from one end of the conductor to another as if they might have teleported the technique is incredibly predictable as the user always follows the path of the conductor and almost always does so in a perfectly strait line, the technique is very easily broken if an obstacle is placed in the path unless the user accounts for this and couples the jutsu with a defensive one, the user is not able to see clearly at this speed but rely on the positioning of the conductor to navigate

Description: A passive jutsu developed from observing the electric eel, the user emits countless tiny electromagnetic impulses to minor to have any effect on anything or any one or even to be detected which bounce off of objects and people rebounding back to the user, in this way the user has learned to “feel” the world around them for a few meters and has developed a sixth sense about them, which is especially sensitive to metals and liquids allowing them to operate blind if necessary

Description: Throwing out a Kunai attached to a wire the user performs the hand seal “bird” around the other end of the wire creating a hummingbird shaped mass of eclectic current around the kunai which the user can manipulate and do greater amounts of damage with, though the bird is smaller this technique can be performed more than one time in succession, if the wire is cut or damaged the technique instantly stops working

Description: An advancement on other shocking techniques originally created to treat cardiac arrest but later modified for offensive purposes the user strikes an opponent unleashing a large amount of electricity causing severe burns stunning and paralysis in the victim (at most second degree burns, 1 post paralysis and two posts of stunning), in rare cases when the blow is delivered to the center of the chest the victims heart rate is thrown off causing very sever injury or death, this method has also been used to revive fallen friends back to a steady pulse if theirs is faint and irregular

Description: An offensive technique not commonly associated with ninjutsu users that is exceedingly complex and difficult to use, the user converts their chakra in to electricity and strikes the opponent (usually on the back of the neck though anywhere on the head or neck is possible, the strike and electricity are both harmless but the user has disrupted the signals sent to the brain that control the nervous system for movement, rather than being paralyzed the victim’s motor skills have been “rewired” so that the synapses for various movements are rearranged, if the victim were to try and move their arm a different body part might move in the way they had wanted their arm to move, effectively disabling the victim for a set time, the technique itself does not selectively chose which moments and body parts are switched out but merely shuffles them at random and requires immense precision to use as one of the most difficult lightning release. The victim will stay in that state for some time but if given enough time and concentration can learn their new controls and resume fighting though they would have to be of high inelegance to do so, the effect lasts four of the victims posts then they have to readjust to their ordinal configuration for another two typically after

Description: a powerful defensive technique in which the user creates a dense layer of raw electricity around their bodies as a defense and for use in taijutsu making unarmed blows particularly devastating, the lightning around the body can negate or at the very least reduce damage from oncoming attacks as well as sock attackers that get to close, the lightning armor also works to increase the users speed and reflexes by “jump starting” their nervous system allowing the user an increase in speed that they can easily handle making it a preferable technique to use. The lightning armor can also be “switched on and off” very simply and requires little preparation. The difficulty is in maintaining a balance in the current and keeping the lightning from dispersing as it naturally would, unlike other techniques that expend a large amount of chakra the lightning armor must be maintained through out its use rather than simply used once and can not last longer than ten posts at a time using more chakara with each post, for re-use to be practical its best to use this jutsu for one to two posts at a time.

Description: The user gathers a massive amount of electrical chakra in an arm creating a large body of electricity in the shape of the head and neck of a great dragon coming from the user whom is able to control the movement and power of the beast, the electricity is so intense it is considered solid and can cause third degree burns, the dragon is also capable of breathing out bolts of lightning and absorbing metal objects to project from its mouth also electrified, this lasts as long as the user and their chakra reserves but seems to always dissipate after a few minutes (10 posts maximum)
