Personality:
Laser is a very unique fellow. Very different from his clan members. Doesn't really like to dwell on his past when he meet strangers of some sort. He was born from the Tsuki branch however acts nothing like it. He does not wear the colors red at all. He sees the true meaning for he was enlightened at a very young age. Thus leaving him in a very cold demeanor. He leaves this ominous and mysterious presence about him that people really can't figure out to be honest. They sit and try to figure out which is with Laser but no one really knows. Laser creates an aura about him that leaves people wanting more just to figure out what's with that guy. He speaks wisdom to strangers he meet and don't really mind showing kindness but the thought of a strange man showing kindness while wearing a mask creeps them out. He has an odd characteristic about him. Infact he has many strange characteristics abotu him. He has the urge to eat chocolate or watermelon which are his favorite foods from time to time. He seems to never be satisfied when he wants something to drink. Seriously, he can drink so much liquids and still walk around saying and feeling he is thirsty. It comes natural to the man. Laser often feels tired and usually would go to sleep or take a little nap every now and then. Not during battle but he does feel tired enough to probally mess up a handseals or slip and fall which could be his downfall or a lucky advantage. Laser has a nag to write poetry in his spare time. Training with friends or allies he would pay less attention on the fight and focus alittle more on writing poetry. Aside from poetry, Laser can also create art. He really takes a liking to art and nature's natural beauty. He creates things from Origami sculptures to paintings with an ink brush and a scroll. Laser isn't really use to talking about his issues or talking out his problems but he has a nag about helping others and their dilemas and issues. So he smokes off his issues, he gets a tingly feeling in his body that feels good and it seems to be an addiction to get rid of his problems. A great relaxer as he smoke away his issues. He claims he can quit smoking at anytime but it will take a person he really cares about to stop only if they want him too. Lastly and more importantly

Laser grows up with the opposite personality people may think or assume he should have. Fun, outgoing, kind and adventurous. Well the only qualities he have out of those categories are Kind and adventurous. He isn't really an outgoing person. Extremely intellegent and has a keen way of improving and sharing his wisdom on philosophy everywhere he steps. From stangers he meet alone, he spread his wisdom and maniplate them into doing his bidding. Turning them and spreading a few words that may have them thinking a bit differently about things and situations. Aside from the good qualities he have and the nasty habbits. Laser expresses a more distant aura around him. He seems that he would strike and strike fiercely when the opportunity presents itself. It's just what people may think about him. Also they may think he is a bit strange and creepy for wearing a mask. He feels a bit sad at the negative feedback he get from people and their opinions. Do they really think this way of people when you look the part of a villain? what if you look the part but act the opposite? what will they think then? He seems to reply to people by telling them, "there's a reason for everything."

History & Roleplay Sample
History:
Birth/Academy Arc: Born in the hidden leaf village under the Tsuki Branch but to outsiders of the clan it is just the regular Gesshoku clan. He was only surrounded by eight members of the clan. Seeing as how the clan break apart and spreaded, going on their different paths. Kaito was a strange one, more so born with the personality and characteristics that of the Taiyo branch which gave the Tsuki Branch members a scare. He was always an odd child from the beginning, unlike other children that will play and horse around. He would sit alone and read his clan ancient books and texts. Sitting alone as he got lost within the ancient words his ancestors woke and written. Reading almost immediately the ancient language they spoke. He was intrigued by his family and their past. He was intrigued by what's out their in other words. He trained to get stronger to find those place. Locate those answers on his own. In a flash he was gaining stronger by the instant physically. Training hand to hand combat, disarms and purely focused on strategy and quick thinking. As the children laughed and played around. Giggling as they played games with each other, bonding and making a relationship with each other. A true friendship. Something Kaito never really experienced. Kaito's friend was his mind and his books. His hard work and dedication were his buddies and his goals were his pals until he reached the academy. The ninja academy that is. He was young like all the other kids, inexperienced as a ninja but truly experienced as a thinker, a strategist and was evolving in physical combat. Debating wasn't much of an option with Kaito for he won arguments using logical terms and philosophy of course. Even though his intellegence on philosophy was still inexperienced, he knew more about it than average kids. During the academy as they took field trips around the village, playing laughing and having fun. Their was two female children who were truly best friends, they stuck by each other all the time through thick and then which taught Kaito about teamwork and cooperation, something he read within his clan ancient books.

The girls were walking beside Kaito one day on the academy's field trip to the Kage building and one of the girls really liked Kaito. She had a crush on him while the other one was devolping true feelings for Kaito. For some reason they were attracted to the mysterious and non-talkative type of person. Both of those girls decided to make a pact that whoever gets him first gets to be with him without the other being jealous. As they made their wager, that day Kaito got really popular and more involved with the children around him unwanted of course. The two girls smothered him with love and compasion by giving him flowers and hugs infront of other kids which he didn't really like because they were children and he didn't really care for women at the time. He was getting embarrassed and he didn't want to be mean so he tried to tell one of the girls that he didn't feel the same way infront of the class. It just so happens she took the news the wrong way and punched Kaito out of his seat which led to him being mocked by his classmates. Engulfed in total embarrassment, Kaito ran home angered to no end. He knew he oculdn't show his face at the academy again. He had one choice and that was to conceal his face from the academy. The next day, right before school he went to a clothing store and bought a mask for his face. It was to keep the kids from knowing who he is which was a stupid idea know that he thinks about it. Seeing as the children has assigned seats, he will have to sit where Kaito sits. No this is not a personality shift when he dawns the mask on his face, he just feels comfortable with the mask on and he can express himself more. One day he was sitting agaisnt a tree when three guys came over to him, blocking the very sunlight he needed to finish writting his poetry. The guys looked like they mean buisness. The guys were around Kaito's age and the setting was the Academy's park were all the other children played. At first the children were afraid of Kaito wearing the mask but they grown to like him and thought he was cool and unique. Three guys didn't like the publicity and popularity Kaito was getting, they were jealous and wanted to beat him up. Kaito showed his hand to hand combat skills he learned and trained that day. The children that watched the three guys get beat up were amazed and officially made Kaito the most popular guy in the academy. They were afraid but respected him. Over time things didn't change and he felt the need to always wear the mask to feel important. He graduated the exams of course as he went on to become an official ninja.

Genin Arc: Kaito emerged on to an official ninja of the village. Their were many girls, more so than guys which had Kaito to be put on a Genin squad with two girls. Which he really wouldn't mind but the two girls were the best friends, one of which that had the crush on him, punched him out of his seat which caused him to wear this mask. The girl that punched him was named Nami Katamari and her best friend was the one that was falling in love with Kaito and his mysterious ways. Her name was Kimiko Katamari. That's right, they were best friends because they were sisters. They acted more so like twins however. Seeing as how Nami dislikes Kaito and Kimiko adores him, they usually got into an argument about the situation. During training with their sensei who was known as Katsu Yoshida. The purpose of the training was to train teamwork and cooperation. Kaito knew the sisters had great cooperation, all he had to do was join in on it. Nami absolutely refused to work with Kaito most of the time and when she was force to, she didn't give Kaito a heads up on incoming attacks or try to get him out of harm's way. The sensei was fed up with thier actions and told them to put aside their petty differences and past for the success of the mission, village and so on. Kaito nodded and turned to Nami who was still not sure about the idea as it was shown in her facial expression and folded arms. It was no use trying to convert her decision so Kaito had to make a move on his own. He suggested a handshake. She was still very skeptical about it and decided that she won't take the handshake. She want something more. Kimiko had a bad feeling about what devious thoughts was stiring up in her head. Nami suggested a kiss. Kimiko was fed up with the idea and decided that Kaito shouldn't go through with the kiss. Kaito believed that if thats what it took to get this team functioning again he had to do it. He lifted his mask up slightly to reveal his lips, the rest of his face was shadowed by the mask. Kimiko was heart broken on the inside and was pissed at her sister, it seems like Nami schemed this to from the very beginning.

As their lips were about to meet, Kimiko pushed Kaito out of the way resulting in Nami kissing her sister's cheek instead. Kaito fell to the wet grass ground and started to stand back up. He knew exactly what happened and was glad Kimiko done what she did. He wasn't ready to kiss anyone yet. Katsu realized what kind of relationship the three squad members have and used it to his advantage as they went on missions together. It seem like Kaito would be partnering up with Katsu during missions while the sisters repair their relationship with each other. Thus letting Kaito step back in. Katsu's plan was a success. During the chuunin exams, Kaito aced the written exam without cheating and went on with his squadmates. Kimiko and Nami made it to the forest of death exam. As they entered the Forest of Death. Kaito readied himself and so did his squadmates. As they entered the forest of death. Nami held one of the scrolls in her hands. Kaito and Kimiko was there to guard her from being endangered while recovering the other scroll and making it to the destination. Kaito couldn't go out alone, he will surely be defeated so it was best to use teamwork. Well teamwork all came crashing down. Ninja from the Hidden Rock village really didn't play around. One of the members on the squad from Iwagakure was a Gesshoku from the Taiyo Branch. He was quite fierce and skilled as a ninja. He and his squad members easily defeated Kaito's squad. As they attempted to take the scroll from Name, the Gesshoku killed her. Struck her down with no remorse and injured Kimiko. That was the last and final straw. He already ticked Kaito off by killing Nami right before her sister's eyes and now this? Injuring her right after for no reason? It awakened Kaito's powers as he, with ease, killed his opponent using clan techniques. He took both the scroll they took from Kaito's squad and the scroll they had. Kimiko was too devastated to see her own sister killed and her leg was injured so she couldn't walk. Kaito striped the weaponry from the attacking Gesshoku and took the necklace Nami was wearing and put it on Kimiko. Kaito then carried Nami's lifeless body on his shoulders and Kimiko in his arms to the destination. The ninja were shocked to see Nami's dead body and Kaito with the strength and will to carry body bodies to such a distance. Ever since that day, Kimiko realized how much of a great person Kaito is and only loved him more by doing this for her sister. Nami's body was sent to the hospitol while Kaito and Kimiko went on with the exams, holding her sister's necklace around her neck. As she watched from above the names being drawn. It was Kaito vs Utsui. Before he went into battle, Kimiko lifted his mask half way and gave him a kiss unexpectedly. Everyone was surprised to see it and even Kaito was surprised but he didn't say he didn't like it and gave her a kiss back. Leaping onto the battleground. Utsui was a puppet user and attacked from far range but it was nothing agaisnt Kaito's clan techniques. He easily defeated his opponent and moved on to the second part of the final exam. Giving a thumbs up to Kimiko who watched from above. As the fights went on, Kimiko advanced to the second part of the final exam aswell. The two went on and won the following battles aswell, progressing along as Chuunin. After the exams they paid tribute to Kimiko's fallen sister by going to her funeral and leaving flowers. After that day, Kimiko and Kaito, whatever relationship they had grew stronger.

Chuunin Arc: Kaito moved on with his single teammate as the trained and spent more time together. It was more of a romantic time within his life. He and her got closer together and he felt comfortable around her truly. They talked, had fun, giggled, played around and more stuff they did together. They went on dates together and completed many missions using teamwork and cooperative strategies, duo strategies and their feelings for each other always kept them going. Kaito gained many side jobs to raise many. Jobs such as bodyguarding the Kage, protecting rich and wealthy people. Guarding stores at night and missions were a piece of cake for Kaito. Kaito had a strange phase in his life where he wanted to change his name to "Rin" due to his mysterious and cold nature. During the jounin exams it was nothing special, they easily ripped through the exam to advance to Jounin rank. Kaito and Kimiko's relationship grew so strong they were thinking of marriage in the near future. Something they both looked forward too.

Jounin Arc: Kaito and Kimiko grew a much stronger bond with each other. Thus to the point where they attempted to get married right after their departure from Chuunin rank to Jounin rank. So they did, as they graduated the ranks and expanded their abilities and powers. They were official jounin of the hidden leaf village. Kaito and Kimiko didn't need a sensei afterwards. They lived their lives as fellow Jounin lovers with a few side jobs aswell. Kaito was a volunteer Kage bodyguard, he was getting paid an extensive amount of money in which he would spend on Kimiko such as gifts and romantic evenings at expensive and wonderful places. When they showed affection to each other. Kimiko would lift his mask half way, only revealing his lips and lay a kiss on his lips which she descibes as tasty or lucious. Kaito took note of those compliments, she taught him how to love and how to feel. Something that he liked to do when he was around her. Kaito and Kimiko, along with two other jounin were sent on a mission to the hidden grass village. They were their to kill ninja who posed as leaf ninja and attack the hidden grass village. Kaito was the leader of the four ninja group of course with following members, Kimiko Katamari as the medic Ninja. Omi Inuzuka the sensor ninja and the genjutsu specialist, Gizuru Nara. Together they made a working and functional squad. Doing their departure on the mission and leaving, heading towards the hidden grass village. Kaito was walking by Gizuru Nara while Kimiko was walking by the arrogant and self proclaimed ladies man Inuzuka. Kaito really disliked Omi alot. Omi was walking by Kimiko, basically flirting her, smothering her with affection like hugs which she knew disturbed Kaito alot. She really couldn't help the fact that Omi was funny and adorable and got caught up in his ways, even though she didn't want to give Kaito the wrong idea. They were walking through the rainforest at night, they were definately tired and suggested to take a rest. Kaito accepted and they all took a rest, Kimiko sleeping by Kaito who was sitting agaisnt a tree while the others had their own places to sleep. Omi was in a tree while Gizuru was within the shadows somewhere. Kaito tapped Kimiko and told her that he needed to talk to her. She awaken from her slumber, rubbing her eyes and kinda annoyed by the fact that she had to wake up. Kaito wanted to talk in private so they got up and walked a good distance from the rest of the teammates. Kaito told her that he was fed up with her actions towards Omi, letting him touch and hold on to her. Flirt with her and quite frankly Kaito wanted to beat Omi into the afterlife. She was flattered that he felt jealousy about the situation even though he won't admit it but was also insulted by the way he said things. Making it seem like she is an untrustworthy person and unfaithful. She told him it was alittle harmless flirting and Kaito didn't see it that way. He was even more angry at the thought of Omi taking Kimiko away from him and so he ended the conversation and walked away from her. Kimiko was angry and sad. She walked back to the other teammates to see if Kaito was their but he was nowhere to be found. She hoped that Kaito was okay and went to sleep in the spot that Kaito layed. As she fell asleep, Kaito returned to the camp site and covered her up with a blanket, that way she won't be sick when she wakes up. He then got up and went on ahead without his teammates. The next morning, Kaito returned to the campsite with valuable information for the squad to only find Kimiko sleeping within the arms of Omi in the very same spot. He stood over the two, blocking the light from the sun watching as the two woke from their slumber. Both Omi and Kimiko caught the masked man in their vision. Kaito walked away towards Gizuru, Kaito and Gizuru were readying their weapons and equipment seeing as Kaito brought back the news. Kimiko knew Kaito got the wrong idea, she don't even know how she was sleeping in Omi's arms. She jerked himself from Omi's grip and ran over to Kaito and tried to explain. Kaito quickly told her to drop it and he don't want to hear it. He told them to get ready because their mission just turned around. Varying from the Leaf village posers fighting and attacking hidden grass village to the leaf village poser fighting Kaito's squad. Kimiko and Omi readied themselves and heard a rumbling within the surrounding trees. Kaito told his squad that they have arrived and to ready them. Gizuru standing on the left side of Kaito and Omi on the left side of Gizuru while Kimiko stood on the right. Suddenly a barrage of Kunai knives flung outwards towards Kimiko which Kaito reacted by quickly blocking all of them. The plan was set, Gizuru kneeled down on one knee and used his clan technique to maniplate the shadows within the surrounding rainforest. Killing some of the opponents and drawing the rest of them out of their hiding spots giving Kaito and Kimiko their chance to attack them and Omi was their to guard the vulnerable Nara. One of the Leaf village posers was infact a Gesshoku from Iwagakure. Infact he was the younger brother of the Gesshoku, Kaito murdered in the exams. The Gesshoku attacked Kimiko and Kaito, defeating them bother with ease. He was a very experienced Jounin so combat came easy to him. The Gesshoku dashed towards Kimiko and gripped his hands around her neck. The Gesshoku gave Kaito an option of choosing her and her squadmates of the cost of the mission. Kimiko told him to choose the mission and he definately wasn't gonna choose that. He chose her and the Gesshoku smirked, igniting her in Solar Heat that burned her flesh leaving her dead on the cold wet grass. Kaito's rage ignited the rain forest literally as the solar heat emitted from his chakra and set the place ablaze. Which killed the Gesshoku and his gang of leaf village posers. He placed Kimiko's dead body on the back of Omi's companion as the traveled back to the village with the news. The villagers were happy that the mission was a success, not even caring about the loss of Kimiko. Only people that cared were her family members and they disliked Kaito because it seems Nami and Kimiko only died while being around Kaito. Kaito was ashamed, he loved her and never had the chance to marry her. The village didn't care for her which opened his eyes. Why is he fighting for a village that only thinks of him as another soldier in the war of life? He only seem to try to do good things but is rewarded with hate. He knew the answer to his issues and it wasn't in the village. Thus he left the village the day after, wearing Kimiko's and Nami's necklace around his neck.

Roleplay Sample:
As she gathered her intellegence and prepared herself for a sudden attack when he slammed his hands at the ground. He watched as she lowered her guard when she found out it wasn't an attack on her. He smiled on the inside of his mask and laughed lightly. It was a bit comical to see her reaction which is one of the reasons he did what he had done. He wanted to see her reaction. Rather she would react or stand there. If she had stood their it would have meant she was brave enough to face certain death, or foolish and wanted to die so easily. However she was smart and brave. She readied herself and for an attack which shows that she either doesn't trust Kaito and had figured this would happen or that she was hoping for a fight and overreacted. It was either one or the other. Maybe even both. Thats the way he though about the situation however she may think differently. "Sorry about that, But honestly It wouldn't be as fun if I told you right?" He said as he gave a slight chuckle. "Why would you want to get to know somebody like me? I'm a nobody, nothing but a useless petal floating on the wind as life carries it along on its own," She said and suddenly it hit him. He learned a bit about her. She was different. It seems like she uncomfortable with being a rogue ninja. She flows with the wind and where the wind takes her. Where is she going? Where is the wind gonna place her next? Well for now. She landed in Kaito's vision. In his line of sight and he isn't gonna let the wind take her until he gets some questions answered. He watched as she wondered off in thought and smirked as she did so. It seemed she felt a bit sad about what she said because after she said it she lost concentration on Kaito and was lost in a state of thought. Suddenly she looked back at him and he knew it was his signal to talk to her. "I want to know about you because I find you intresting. I want to know why you consider yourself a nobody. Why do you feel useless." He said, trying to lead her into questions he want answered until it hit him, "Because the wind floated you my way" He said, giving off a light smile as he tilted his head once more at her to signal he was giving a childlike smile.
